2 million euros in humanitarian aid for the people of Ukraine
As of next week the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will commence delivery of humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
More than €1 million in donations for Ukraine!
Since Thursday morning, residents of Latvia have donated more than 3.7 million euros for Ukraine through Ziedot.lv. Ziedot.lv has already provided support with 1 million euros from resident and company donations.
During 2021, Ziedot.lv paid almost €1 million towards the treatment of oncology patients.
During 2021, Ziedot.lv provided support totalling € 980,643 to 85 oncology patients, utilising donations from the general public and companies in Latvia.
Almost 60 000 Euros have been donated for the rehabilitation of children
On November 7, the closing of the joint charity campaign "There is one button between a person and a good deed" of the company "Maxima Latvija" and the rehabilitation centre "Poga". The campaign has been held since autumn last year in all stores of "Maxima Latvija" in order to support the rehabilitation of children in Latvia together with their cooperation partners.
Ziedot.lv has opened a new children’s rehabilitation centre as a gift to the children of Latvia
On Thursday, 26th November, in the presence of President Raimonds Vējonis, his wife Iveta Vējone and Health Minister Guntis Belēvičs, a new Ziedot.lv children’s rehabilitation centre was opened at Indrānu iela 13, Rīga. The new centre, “Poga”, will provide high-quality rehabilitation services using the latest technologies to meet the needs of children recovering from serious illnesses. Available technologies include the first implementation in Northern Europe of the G-EO System, a robotic-assisted device in gait rehabilitation.
