The love of a mother is endless. But to raise a seriously ill child, mothers have to be very strong. It is emotionally and physically difficult. Usually, mothers of seriously ill children cannot work a paid job because they always have to be with their children. This means they can rarely leave the house alone, not even talking about the opportunity to dedicate time to themselves. Over time, many mothers have acquired serious health problems while taking care of their ill children. Those tend to be back problems, as well as joint and bone problems. Yet more than anything, the souls of those mothers ache. On one hand, it is misery and feelings of guilt, on the other hopelessness and emptiness.
These mothers need support from others to have enough strength and love. Although support can be provided by their loved ones and friends, sometimes it is not enough because it requires specific knowledge and skills.
The charity project ''For Mothers of Seriously Ill Children'' provides both practical and emotional support. It can range from a medical back massage worth 20 euros to several hundreds of euros for the solving of harder problems. Mothers need our support to feel cared for and relieve the heaviness of their responsibilities. Let's help mothers of seriously ill children together!
