Education center "Volia.LV" is an organization founded by the Ukrainian war refugees to provide quality education, professional development, and social integration for Ukrainian refugee children and adults who have been forced to leave their homes.
The center's mission is focused on building a confident future by providing access to knowledge, developing skills, offering psychosocial support, and fostering intercultural dialogue.
The center is a symbol of strength, unity, and hope - a place where everyone can gain the knowledge needed for new opportunities while honoring their roots and confidently integrating into Latvian society.
Through education, it is possible not only to adapt but also to shape one’s future.
Education is not just a tool for adaptation - it is a bridge between the past and the future!
Main areas of activity:
1. Language integration:
- National and Latvian language courses for adults and children
- Conversation clubs to overcome language barriers
2. Support for basic and professional education:
- Assistance for children in acquiring general secondary education
- Professional courses and training for adults to improve qualifications
3. Social adaptation:
- Integration events, workshops, and cultural activities
- Training on rights and responsibilities in the host country
4. Psychological support through education:
- Sessions with specialists on emotional well-being
- Art therapy and educational games for children who have experienced stress
5. Employement support:
- Courses on CV writing and job interview preparation
The Education Center "Volia.LV" is being developed with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in Latvia, to provide the Ukrainian diaspora — which highly values and takes pride in its heritage — with its own education center.
