Tomas from Riga is just 7 years old, but he has already faced more challenges than many of us will in a lifetime. Born prematurely at 32 weeks together with his twin brother, complications during childbirth left Tomas with cerebral palsy (CP) and severe motor and developmental difficulties.Despite everything, Tomas is full of joy. He started school this year and loves being around other children. After classes, his parents do everything possible to ensure he receives the rehabilitation he needs. Tomas especially enjoys long walks with his dad and being by the sea.
To keep progressing, Tomas requires four intensive rehabilitation courses per year at the “Poga” center.
