The Harmony fund supports musicians who have contributed to Latvian culture throughout their career but for one reason or another cannot currently support themselves through their chosen musical profession. Sometimes this support is financial, for medical bills for example, but in other cases the support involves practical help to improve the musician's daily life.
Donations will be gratefully received, to continue supporting musicians in need.
Thanks to the generous donations already received, Harmony has helped:
- Rolands Balodis-Udris - Harmony helped hire in-home assistance, move house, change jobs and furnish his new place after a life changing traffic accident.
- Valdis Atalams (Vladimir Satrovskis) - Harmony paid for an eye operation.
- Alexandrs Kublinskis - Harmony sponsored medical rehab.
- Roberts Gobzins - Harmony secured physical therapy, 3 PRP injections and co-pays for other medical services.
- Aleksandrs Slujevs - Harmony secured a consultation at an advanced plastic surgery clinic after the amputation of a finger from his left hand, paid for a compression glove and also covered rehabilitation consults and ongoing therapy.
- Danis Dobelnieks - Harmony secured a prosthetic leg.
- Uldis Krumins - Harmony paid the co-pay for a spinal operation.
