Mihails is an active, versatile and positive person with wide interests. He is a supporter of a healthy lifestyle, tries to follow a healthy diet, does not smoke, likes to walk by the sea and in the forest. He likes hockey, American football, tennis, downhill skiing, intellectual games. Human interaction and friendship are important to him, he likes to spend time with friends, loves humor and often jokes. Mihails loves music, he dances to rock and roll with joy, as soon as he hears the sounds of the first song. He has been learning Spanish for several years.
Mihails’ support and love of life is his wife Kristine. Despite the long life together, the family has managed to maintain warmth, tenderness and love in their relationships. The next year, they hope to celebrate the Silver wedding anniversary together. However, the family's warm and bright everyday life is overshadowed by Mihails illness.
Less than two years ago, Mihails was diagnosed with a malignant skin tumor - melanoma. Since then, the family has been going through difficulties, trying doesn’t lose hope of. In spite of everything that is happening, Mihail works, tries to remain optimistic and not lose hope of overcoming everything. He is able to see the good in everyday life, instead of looking at everything from the dark side.
Currently, the board of doctors has prescribed the drug “Ipilimumab (yervoy)”, which is not on the national list of reimbursable drugs in Latvia (EU). An application has been submitted to the National Health Service of Latvia for partial compensation from the state, but the answer is still awaited. The price of one vial is 3,460.23 euros, a full course requires 20 vials for a total of 69,204.60 euros. It is very difficult for the family to raise such a huge amount, so they are asking for the public's help.

Mihails es una persona activa, versátil, positiva y con amplios intereses. Es un partidario de un estilo de vida saludable, trata de seguir una dieta saludable, no fuma, le gustan los paseos junto al mar y el bosque. También le gusta el hockey, el fútbol americano, el tenis, el pádel, el esquí alpino y los juegos intelectuales. La interacción humana y la amistad son importantes para él, le gusta pasar tiempo con amigos, le encanta el humor y, a menudo, él está bromeando. A Mihails le encanta la música, baila rock and roll con alegría, tan pronto como escucha los sonidos de la primera canción. Lleva varios años aprendiendo español.
El apoyo y el amor de la vida de Mihails es su esposa Cristina. A pesar de la larga vida juntos, la familia ha logrado mantener la calidez, la ternura y el amor en su relación. El año que viene esperan celebrar juntos las bodas de plata. Sin embargo, la cálida y alegre vida cotidiana de la familia se ve ensombrecida por la enfermedad de Mihails.
Hace menos de dos años, a Mihails le diagnosticaron un tumor cutáneo maligno: el melanoma. Desde entonces, la familia pasa por las dificultades, intentando no perder la esperanza. A pesar de todo lo que está pasando, Mihails trabaja, intenta mantener el optimismo y no perder la esperanza de superarlo todo. Es capaz de ver lo bueno en la vida cotidiana, en lugar de mirar todo desde el lado oscuro.
Actualmente, la junta médica ha recetado el medicamento “Ipilimumab (yervoy)”, que no está incluyendo en la lista nacional de medicamentos reembolsables en Letonia (UE). Se ha presentado una solicitud al Servicio Nacional de Salud de Letonia para obtener una compensación parcial por parte del Estado, pero aún se espera la respuesta. El precio de un vial es de 3.460,23 euros, un curso completo requiere 20 viales por un total de 69.204,60 euros. Es muy difícil para la familia recaudar una cantidad tan grande, por eso piden la ayuda del público.
"Hay tantas cosas que todavía le gustaría hacer y ver, muchas más razones e intereses para seguir viviendo, tanta necesidad de estar al lado de la persona que amas. Por favor, ayude a Mihails a superar la enfermedad", pide Cristina, la esposa de Mihails. ¡Vamos a ayudar!
