For sixth consecutive year, Sergejs Jegers Charity Foundation will be organising creative workshops for children. More than 125 talanted kids from disadvantaged families in Jekabpils and Skriveri municipalities have participated in these workshops.
In 2015 the creative workshops will take place in Ozolnieki municipality and more than 30 children aged 7-12, will get involved,. This project is called ‘Hold my hand, let’s go together!’ and will take place from 29th June until 3rd July.
The purpose of this project is to promote creative, healthy and active lifestyle to children from disadvantaged, large families and foster families.
During this year’s creative workshops children will learn to listen to music, sing, and draw, get to know famous people from various industries, take part in sports activities and glass painting. These children will learn new things and spend quality time in creative environment, as well as further develop their skills and broaden their horizon. These activities as a whole will help their integration into society in future.
In order to help 30 children from Ozolnieki have a colourful and memorable summer, we need to raise € 3715 to cover essential costs of the workshops. Let’s brighten their future together!
